We offer a diverse curriculum including daily instruction in reading, writing, math, social studies and science. Our reading specialist works with children to ensure they have a solid foundation in this critical area, and we have computers in all classrooms that expose students to the many educational opportunities that modern technology provides. We also offer a wonderful special education program, including hearing impaired specialists. A Sylvan Park day also includes daily PE, Spanish, music, art, ENCORE, guidance counseling and more.
Extracurricular activities are important at Sylvan Park, and we love to recognize and reward achievement. Each grading period we honor students for outstanding academics, attendance and attitude. We also offer participation in several organizations, such as Love Helps, and offer an outstanding after-care program.
