Summary of EASY Ways to Raise Money for
Sylvan Park School


1. Use your designated Kroger Gift Card to make all Kroger purchases! Kroger will give 5% of the amount of your purchases back to the school, including pharmacy purchases. Just use a designated gift card when you pay. It’s easy and gives 5% of your grocery spending to Sylvan Park! Get a card now and don’t forget to recharge it every time you shop! You can click on the picture and purchase them online! Last year we earned $1800 from Kroger. Our goal is to double our income from Kroger Card this year—help us achieve this goal.

2. Clip and Save Box Tops for Education!
Clip Box Tops Coupons from Participating Products--Save Box Tops coupons from hundreds of General Mills products. You'll find Box Tops on many of your favorite brands that you use every day. General Mills pays Sylvan Park PTA 10¢ for each Box Tops coupon redeemed. Turn in Your Box Tops Coupons to Sylvan Park School--Please send them in an envelope marked for Sylvan Park PTA. There is also a drop box in the office. A PTA volunteer submits the collected coupons twice a year and then Sylvan Park PTA receives a check—last school year we made $165 from this program. If each student at Sylvan Park collected just 20 box tops, we would raise over $500! This is a great opportunity to raise money just by using products that we purchase already.

3. Recycle Rewards. Start saving your empty computer laser and ink jet printer cartridges & ask your employer/co-workers to save cartridges. The Recycle Rewards Program is an educational and environmental partnership designed to make fundraising simple and ecological. For every cartridge collected, Sylvan Park School gets money! It's simple CA$H FOR TRASH! Cartridges are worth anywhere from 25 cents up to $9.00 each! Here’s how to participate:
*Save cartridges from your home or office printer and send them in to the school. We will have a drop box for them in the office.

4. Harris Teeter “Together in Education”—When you shop at Harris Teeter, but SURE to use your VIC card and have it coded to Sylvan Park Paideia School #4455. Or give the number to the cashier when you check out. You can also link your VIC card on-line at www.harristeeter.com. Click “Together in Education” under Community to link your card.

5. Publix—If you shop at PUBLIX, get a key chain card from the PTA. By scanning this card when you shop, you will be giving a percentage of your spending back to Sylvan Park!

6. Schoolpop.com—This on-line shopping site pays money back to Sylvan Park for purchases you make from many popular merchants (including Office Depot, Lands End & Dell Computer). Just go to www.schoolpop.com and sign up. Our school code is #0216813. If you link through the school pop site before you shop, the vendor will pay a portion of your purchase cost back to Sylvan Park.

7. Target Visa—If you use a Target credit card, be sure to assign Sylvan Park as your school of choice. A percentage of all your charges is paid back to the school in cash.
