1st, 3rd, and 5th grade families: Mark your calendars to come eat a holiday lunch with your kids on Tuesday, December 13. Specific lunchtimes will be shared soon. We will need some volunteers to help with set up and clean up - sign up here to help!

All Sylvan Park families are welcome to join the 3rd Grade Performance on Thursday, December 15th. This event will be in lieu of the holiday singalongs the school has done in the past.

Please consider contributing to our Holiday staff collection by Wednesday, December 14th. We provide Amazon gift cards to faculty in August to start the school year, and this is an opportunity to support the rest of our great staff during the holidays!

12/16 is the last school day of the semester and is a half day for students. PNA is open for before care but not after care. We will see everyone again on January 9th!

On December 10 , MNPS will host a hiring event for the newly created Safety Ambassador positions who will be assigned to district elementary schools. Safety Ambassadors will directly support the safety of students and staff as well as assist with safety drills.
|
Compensation will start at $18.58/hour. The event will be held from 9:00 a.m. through noon at the MNPS Wellness Center, located at 2694 Fessey Court. Please share with your parent organizations, community partners and others.

You are invited to see our the West End Drama Club perform Alice this week in the West End Auditorium. This take on a classic character will have students of all ages. The show is on Wednesday and Thursday at 5:30pm with a requested donation of $3.
