Final Week of Summer Edition. Here is what is coming up:
|
- Today, July 30 is the last day to order spirit wear for delivery before the start of school.
- July 31, 7:30 - 8:15 - Kindergarten ABC's is a chance to get all the information about the year ahead and get to know the kindergarten teachers a little more.
- July 31, 3pm - Plan to hear from your teacher via email the afternoon of the 31st. Please respond to your teacher's email if you would like to be a room parent this year!
- August 3, 9-2p - Family work day, Sign up now
- August 5, 4:30-5:30 - Ice cream social
- August 6th: First Day of School. Tears and cheers (sponsored by Answer restaurant) 7:45 am - Join us in front of the school for coffee and pastries after dropping your child off for their first day of the 2023/34 school year!
- If you ordered a supply kit, it will be delivered to your teacher before school starts. You do nothing. If you purchased your own supplies, please plan to bring them to school during the ice cream social.
- JOIN THE PTO! Are you looking for a fun, fulfilling way to get involved at Sylvan Park? We have the perfect job for you! Our PTO is still needing help, any support to our school is appreciated! If you have a desire to serve and to be a part of a fantastic community of parent and teacher volunteers, please email pto.spark@gmail.com !

Please sign up to join us for our annual Parent Work Day at Sylvan Park Elementary on Saturday, August, 3rd 9am - 2p.

Family work day is a chance to build community and see your child's classroom! Please plan to come and clean desks and chalk boards and get the school ready for the new year!

Come to the school auditorium where we will have coffee and chick-fil-A minis and hear about your Kindergarten year of school!

This is an adult event. Childcare is not provided.

The Ice cream social is a chance to meet your teacher then head to the playground for some ice cream with friends.
|
Free yard signs will be given out at this event!
|
Come to the back of the school at 4:30pm on Monday.

Submissions for the newsletter: please submit any school-related news, announcements, etc. by each Sunday at noon in order to get it in the following Tuesday's newsletter.
