- The 2024-25 INVEST Campaign is LIVE!
- Let's Goetz Together 9/6 Friday, September 6, from 8:15a-8:45a is this year's first Let's Goet(z) Together (coffee with the principal) This is an informal session which will include a brief school update and then an open forum to ask questions. *Parents/guardians will be asked to sign in on the front porch between 8a-8:15a (after student arrival is over) and then join us in the library.

- PTO Meeting 9/5: Voting for changes to 2024-2025 Executive Board will take place: Proposed President Jennifer Morse Vice-President: Margaret Marchetti. We will have babysitting for K-5 students available.

Sylvan Park's 2024-25 INVEST Campaign kicked off this past week!
|
Our annual INVEST Campaign is dreaming BIG for the 2024-2025 school year as we strive to reach our goal of $120K!
|
The Fun(d) Run
|
INVEST is the actual fundraising campaign. The Fun(d) Run was created a few years ago as a way to get the kids excited and celebrate by doing a run around the track at the end of the campaign. They’ll get a “Fun Run” T-Shirt , another popsicle and pride for lots of laps around the track. And a great playlist curated by our very own Coach Scott for a dance party to boot!

This week (9/3-9/13) we are kicking off our first school-wide seminar for the 2024-2025 school year! Our text for this seminar is Collaboration Station by Shannon Olsen.
|
In this seminar students will discuss the values of collaboration, mindset, teamwork, and communication and participate in an engaging and fun collaborative activity.
|
|
For our post-seminar activity, students will work in groups to create an informational poster to showcase their learning about what collaboration looks like and sounds like in our classrooms. Ask your child about this engaging and meaningful learning experience!

We do one large fundraiser a year and the time is now!
Sylvan Park Elementary's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is raising funds to support the infrastructure of the school and it’s requested needs, teacher appreciation, and family hardship funds. Sponsoring Sylvan Park is an incredible way to highlight your commitment to our community.

To Use the Kroger Community Rewards Program:

- Once logged into you Kroger account search for Sylvan Park Elementary PTO either by name or XF971 and then click Enroll.
- New users will need to create an account which requires some basic information, a valid email address and a rewards card.
*Customers must have a registered Kroger rewards card account to link to your organization.
*If you do not yet have a Kroger rewards card, they are available at the customer service desk at any Kroger

REMEMBER, purchases will not count toward Sylvan Park until after you register your rewards card.

Submissions for the newsletter: please submit any school-related news, announcements, etc. by each Sunday at noon in order to get it in the following Tuesday's newsletter.
