Thank You for INVESTing in our school. We appreciate your support. We can’t meet this goal without our whole community.

Our campaign depends on the cooperation and support of our students’ parents… but we hope you will help us to widen the net. Please share the campaign with grandparents, aunts, uncles, friends. The more people participate, the better the campaign will be!

Family Picnic
Come join us at Richland Park after school on Thursday September 14th. Pickup a Pizza dinner (pre-orders available NOW) from Hometeam Pizza and spend some quality time with your Sylvan Park community (including members of the PTO) and family on the playground and the open spaces of Richland Park.
|
...AND If we can get the INVEST Campaign >$50,000 by Thursday, Everyone's favorite Shaved Ice Truck will stop by for an after-dinner treat!

Hometeam Pizza will generously donate a portion of every purchase to support the Sylvan Park PTO.

Sylvan Park Picture Day is September 29th with make-up day on December 6th.

By now you should have received an email from your room parent requesting that you send in a note of appreciation for our teachers.
Each grade level was assigned a theme. These notes are due no later than Wednesday afternoon. These notes should be to all teachers at Sylvan Park, not just your homeroom teacher. If you would like to email your note instead or have any questions please email Theresa Yarber at tsyarber@gmail.com. Be sure to include your theme word if you send a note.

We were able to "Espresso" Our Thanks to our teachers on Friday by bringing in Java Breeze to make coffees and smoothies! We were also able to stock the lounge with bagels, spreads, biscotti and lots of other snacks!
|

Thanks to everyone who came out and had a pastry with us on Saturday, September 9th HERO DOUGHNUTS & BUNS. Events like this offer space to meet outside of school, support local businesses, and raise money for our school.

The Sylvan Park PTO's mission depends on the help of people from our school community who give their time and energy to make Sylvan Park special. Volunteering at the school is a great way to be part of our school and meet other Sylvan Park families.
|
|
There are lots of ways to help at Sylvan Park. Some jobs are big, some are small, and you can volunteer at school or from home. No matter how busy you are, there's a way for you to join in. When you help out, our community gets stronger, and you'll feel good about it. :)
