Are you looking for a rewarding way to be involved at Sylvan Park?
|
The PTO needs a Home Room Parent (HRP) for each classroom. HRPs are a tradition at Sylvan Park! This role serves as a liaison between teachers, parents, and the PTO board.
|
Please consider volunteering for this most rewarding role for your child's classroom this year.
|

|
Open House is Tuesday, August 22nd. Parents/guardians will report to the auditorium for an introduction from Ms. Goetz and friends. We will host two sessions in each classroom. Both sessions will be the same so families with more than one child or more than one teacher can meet each teacher (if you have more than 2 children at SP or more then 2 teachers- 5th grade- please make arrangements with the teacher to get the information that you need).

Babysitting is Available
Open House is intended for parents, not students. We WILL have childcare for potty-trained children age 3 and older (just bring your child to the gym) during Open House so that you can focus on the information being shared. Please sign up below for child care so that we can plan for enough sitters.

Sylvan Park Picture Day is September 29th with make-up day on December 6th.

Thank you to everyone who donated to Stock the Lounge this month! We were able to show our faculty some love with “You’re Awesome to the Core” themed snacks, treats and drinks!

Calling all who are GRAND in our students' lives: grandparents, aunts, uncles, caregivers, friends!

Join us Thursday, August 31st to celebrate your student(s) in front of the school. The event will start at 7:30am and the PTO will provide light refreshments.

The Sylvan Park PTO's mission depends on the help of people from our school community who give their time and energy to make Sylvan Park special. Volunteering at the school is a great way to be part of our school and meet other Sylvan Park families.
|
|
There are lots of ways to help at Sylvan Park. Some jobs are big, some are small, and you can volunteer at school or from home. No matter how busy you are, there's a way for you to join in. When you help out, our community gets stronger, and you'll feel good about it. :)

As we dream big to support our vital school positions, create hardship funds, drive innovative learning experiences and fund teacher ideas to improve the way in which we teach and serve our students, we need your help.
