Sylvan Park’s community approved the purchase of 4 air purifiers by the PTO for the school cafeteria. Combined with the existing HVAC systems, these purifiers will increase the air changes per hour to over 6, which would provide the highest air changes per hour recommended by the Harvard School of Public Health’s Healthy Schools report. The air purifiers will be installed in time for students’ return to the cafeteria this week.
