The Sylvan Park Science Committee has created an activity for our student scientists to observe the signs of Spring! View the activity with a suggested video and parent tips here. All you need are pencil and paper, a cup and access to a tree and some grass. Happy investigating.

Students had the opportunity to see The Amazing Twins puppet show, an adaptation of one of the most important texts in Maya culture. The show is produced by Wishing Chair Productions and the Nashville Public Library Foundation.  View behind-the-scenes pictures and additional details on the library’s blog.

The Tennessee Department of Human Services is making financial resources available to families impacted by the coronavirus pandemic. Families can apply online for up to two months of emergency cash if they were employed as of March 11, 2020 and have lost employment or at least 50% of their income as a result of the pandemic.
