Students’ last day of school is Thursday, May 25. Dismissal is at 11:30a.m. We hope you have a wonderful summer and we look forward to having our Panther community back together in August!

Thank you to Oasis Bike Workshop for their generous donation of bikes to support students at our school. Oasis Center provides a wide range of opportunities that reflect the diverse needs of youth and their families.

Mark your calendars for M.L.Rose restaurant day on the last day of school, May 25th. Celebrate the end of an amazing school year with your Sylvan Park community and make some money for our school at the same time!

If you missed your opportunity to purchase the annual school project in print at the school carnival, you’re not too late! Prints are $25 and $40. Order online and pick up outside the front door this week.

A huge thank you to all of our students and parents who supported our staff last week during Teacher Appreciation Week. We are also so grateful for the support of several local businesses – Pancho & Lefty’s, who provided an ENTIRE lunch for our staff free of charge, as well as Coco’s Italian Market, Sweetability, Brightside Bakeshop, and Bradley’s Creamery, who provided their services at a discounted rate so that we could spoil our teachers!

We raised $1500 for our school thanks to everyone who came out for our restaurant fundraiser with Hattie B’s. They are a terrific partner, and we are grateful to have such generous businesses in the neighborhood! Next up is M.L. Rose in May!!
