New Location! – Neighborhood Tree Lighting

Sylvan Park Neighborhood Association will hold its first-ever holiday tree lighting ceremony on Tuesday, December 10 at 6 p.m. will now take place at the corner of 44th Avenue and Murphy Rd. near Billy’s Corner. West End band students will launch the event playing holiday songs and Sylvan Park students will close the ceremony leading us in carols. This will be an opportunity for neighbors across Sylvan Park to get together to celebrate and to begin what will hopefully become a new holiday tradition. If your child is interested in singing with a group of Sylvan Park students, please meet at 5:50 to run through the songs at Billy’s Corner. We will sing Jingle Bells, Rudolph, and We Wish You a Merry Christmas. Participation is open to all ages. Dress warmly and the tree lighting will go on rain, snow or shine.
