Last Friday, second graders investigated friction and considered how important friction is for polar bears who live on ice. They were so independent that second grade lead science volunteer Molly Miller, teachers, and parent volunteers (Rachel Gibbs, Kaitlan Brock, Eric Spivey) could (mostly) kick back and watch them experiment. Kindergarten students will have their first science lab this week on October 4.
Everyone interested is urged to attend the first meeting of the Science Committee at 8 am Monday, Oct. 14 in the science room.
